Safe patient transfer is a skill

Proper patient transfer techniques are not intuitive. They must be learned. The Swivel training video presents a detail overview and demonstration of the many unique ways to transfer a patient not requiring a lift. These methods focus on the three basic elements of the transfer; balance, pivot and swivel. Once understood they will reduce the potential for injury for both the caregiver and the patient during the transfer process.
