The Swivel solves real life patient transfers

The Swivel was developed by Rick Carbaugh after his frustration with products on the market he purchased to aid in transferring his invalid wife who suffered from MS. Rick estimates that he moved her 40 to 50 times per day. She was injured during one of those transfers. Frustrated, with the lack of a solution, he designed a device to prevent this type of injury from occurring again.  He felt his wife had suffered enough, without having to endure further injuries just trying to live.
